About the Opera House
Inaugurated in 2011, the Royal Opera House Muscat was a gift from Sultan Qaboos to the people of Oman. It represents one of the most significant cultural initiatives in the Gulf region.
The stunning architecture blends contemporary Omani design with world-class acoustic engineering. The main auditorium seats 1,100 and features state-of-the-art staging capabilities.
The venue has hosted legendary performers including Plácido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
